Opus Hong Kong takes the cake as the most expensive luxury apartment building in Asia. In fact, the building’s penthouse unit recently sold for $83 million while several other apartment units were priced at over $50 million each. Designed by Pritzker-winning Canadian architect Frank Gehry, the building is progressive and forward thinking with amenities such as rainwater recycling for irrigation and charge systems for electric cars.
5. Odeon Tower, Monaco
Odeon Tower is perhaps the new face of luxury and decadence in the apartment world. The penthouse unit clocks in at a mind-numbing $400 million, offering up a mind-blowing view of the surrounding city and water.
