Description of Work: I had new Sagebrush vinyl siding, 11 Soft-lite replacement windows, new gutters, soffits, fascia, new garage door, and new rear entry garage door installed this past winter. A big job. Member Comments: Jeff came by to give me an estimate and was very courteous and friendly. He was informative without being pushy for a sale, unlike many other sales people I met. Very pleasant to work with. Dan and his co-workers were very good workers, and gave excellent attention to detail. They worked through some very snowy and cold weather without sacrificing quality which amazed me. All in all, a great crew! I would definitely work with them again.
Description of Work: Bid on Odyssey Plus vinyl siding on home & garage. Cover soffit & fascia w/ new aluminum. New aluminum seamless gutters & downspouts. Custom window & door aluminum wraps. Installation of 7 Simonton Prism Platinum vinyl replacement windows & 2-6' Heartland patio doors. They were also willing to do extras @ no extra cost to help prep area, because I would be unable help. Mr. Moore ''bent over backwards'' to meet our price limit. Member Comments: I was very impressed with Mr. Moore & his crew. I would Highly recommend him for any job where quality & price matter. Joe H. home owner. I regret not hiring Mr. Moore & his crew.
Jeff Moore, the contractor, and Bryan, the carpenter, were both a pleasure to work with and did a great job. Bryan came up with a creative way to protect the windows with overhangs that he designed. (There had been no overhangs on the West side of the house leading to the deterioration of those windows and siding on this 36 year old house.) Bryan did all of the work. The neighbors all commented on the great job he did and how nice the house looks. Each old window was out and the new window was in so fast that the house did not even cool off, even in Jan. Jeff saw to it that minor manufacturing problems (windows) were completely taken care of by the manufacturer before he would accept final payment.
Jeff has been great to work with and I feel assured that our work will be done to the highest level of quality. I have been so impressed with Jeff thus far that I thought an initial report would be warranted to help those considering getting window or siding bids. Out of the four bids I received for windows and siding, including two other well regarded Angie's List companies, Jeff was without question my number one choice. When Jeff came out for my bid he took a significant amount of time to answer my questions and educate me about our options (over 2 hours). He never seemed rushed like some of the other sales people. He followed up promptly and worked hard to give us a very competitive bid. He was, and has been, an extremely friendly person to talk with on every occasion. He was very patient and understanding when we were forced to put off having our siding replaced and decided to just have windows replaced for now. Also met his installer, Brian. Seems like a great guy.
This company was a joy to work with. Jeff fully explained all the options available to me and didn't try to sell me any options that I didn't need. I had some concerns about the Simonton Windows and Jeff allowed me to call his company rep to discuss these concerns. The price on the windows is very competitive, and the windows are beautiful, and much quieter than my old windows. Also much less drafty and more energy efficient. The windows arrived quickly and were installed quickly. The crew was professional and cleaned the worksite fully. One of the crew even returned to help me take off a screen I was having a problem with. Jeff also worked very hard to make sure that the windows met all the city codes, something another company failed to pursue. Jeff returned my many phone calls promptly and was available at all times, including evenings and weekends. I would make sure to give Jeff a call before getting any window or siding work done, it will be worth your time.
Jeff and his crew had performed excellent overall service installing awning windows and a oversized patio door/window for a 1966 house. I really enjoyed doing business with them. They were willing to work around your time and were always available for questions. Brian, the installer is a perfectionist. We could see it in his work especially when it came to installing the wood trim around the windows and aluminum siding outside of the patio door. Very impressed with his work. He gave a 100% quality work into it. Will hire them to do more work in the future.
Removed stucco on 2+ car garage. Removed & closed windows. Replaced with vinyl siding. Start to finish one week. Choose this company based on my timeframe. The bid came in a little higher but I needed the work done quickly and they did well in meeting my timeframe. They did a nice job of cleaning up everyday and the work completed looks great.
Jeff was prompt, professional and courteous both on the phone and in person. He took extra time to understand our very specific desire for how our exterior would look. Jeff took extra time to determine several options for both the extent of the work and the materials to be used. He presented these options in a clear and understandable way that helped us make an informed decision. Jeff provided ballpark figures for several options that ranged from $13,000 to $28,000. Ultimately, we realized that we would need to wait and save more money to afford the look that we want or we would need to reassess our vision for the work. Jeff was very clear about the costs, and we felt confident that his rates were appropriate for the work. We sought no other bids. We intend to contact Jeff immediately once we have saved enough money to do the work the way we envision or if we decide to change our vision to include less expensive materials.

We had 3 sides of our house re-sided and all the windows replaced. Capital was the last company we allowed to give us an estimate on both jobs (getting estimates is a tiring and time consuming process) and are we glad we agreed to listen to Jeff Moore, the owner of Capital. Their bid was reasonable, Jeff and his crew are very knowledgeable, they did the work plus fixed some problem areas for both the siding and windows for the original estimate charge. Jeff kept us updated when the weather prevented work being done. Member comments: we love our new Simonton Windows, our house is so much quieter and the siding looks great. We'll definitely call capital if we decide to replace the front cedar or do the soffits/fascia in the future
We were given an estimate for new windows and siding installed on our home as well as two new doors. Jeff Moore gave us an exact estimate and did not charge us a penny more. He had even made an error in the estimate, but stuck to his word and kept the price the same for my wife and I. The professionalism and work of the crew was exceptional. They have even developed a unique and innovative flashing technique that is being studied by local twin cities area inspectors. In fact, Oakdale has made this technique mandatory on all window replacement/installation jobs. White Bear Lake is also interested in going this route. The windows and siding are hands down top grade and our home is quieter and much more charming with the new look. The work was completed quickly but with great care for detail....they even attached our new light fixtures for us and bought new house numbers! I would definitely recommend capital to anyone who asks. Member comments: the price for the Simonton Prism series window is extremely competitive and the windows are quality. Pay attention to the fine details such as the amount of surface area glass per window (to see out of), the beveled edges and welded corners. Get a lot of estimates and educate yourself on windows and siding and then contact Jeff or Don at Capital. You will see the difference.
Great workmanship. Very helpful. Had some minor issues with contra-tors showing up regularly, however overall they were very professional and well priced. We looked around quite a bit for the right siders and when we met Jeff we knew we had the best one. And we were right.
The work was done in December, which was a concern to us, but they worked so efficiently that it made no noticeable difference in our heating bills. Excellent work, very pleased with the results. The owner was very good at responding to calls & questions as they arose.

Description of Work: They installed windows, siding, and overhangs. They replaced the four windows on the west side of the house.
